Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of removing and replacing pavement in Parking Lots 8, 16 and 36 on the Iowa State University campus. This includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing PCC and HMA pavement, electrical distribution pathways, new watermain & building services, storm sewer, parking lot & pedestrian lighting, PCC pavement and sidewalks, pavement markings and finish grading. Contractor shall provide all incidental materials and equipment necessary to install improvements per construction documents. Contractor shall provide tree and construction fencing and is responsible for all pedestrian and vehicular traffic control signage. Substantial Completion: August 11, 2025 Final Completion: October 10, 2025 Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. The Iowa Board of Regents seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 73 of the Code of Iowa. This project has a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses as specified in the Project Requirements.
