Question Deadline 03/13/2025 at 1:00 PM CT Question Cuttoff Date & Time Provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete seed mixing and storage per pound of pure live seed (PLS). Delivery of this seed will be required within 48 hours of notification from the Iowa Department of Transportation to the locations listed on the Lines Tab of this bid. Separate purchase orders will be created for each project. Spreadsheet listing quantities and species will be attached to purchase orders. Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. One contract will be awarded for all items. All items are tied. Contract Period Awarded suppliers from the Wildflower and Grass Seed Bid are to have delivery of seed to vendor for seed mixing by April 1, 2025. Four of the six projects for delivery are to be delivered between April 15, 2025 and May 31, 2025. Please list date of completion in calendar days on each line of the Bidders Bid Response, and if necessary, adjusted by agreement between the Iowa DOT and successful bidder prior to executing the contract documents. The Iowa DOT realizes that deliveries and site conditions have a definite bearing on the completion date. The Iowa DOT with good cause and satisfactory past performance by the Contractor, the Iowa DOT may revise the completion date to another mutually-acceptable date, when requested in writing and in good faith by the Contractor. Native seeding in the spring and fall requires good weather. The presence of adverse weather during our seeding window may result in seed having to be stored for longer periods of time.
