Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Board of Trustees for the Town of Cheyenne Wells (Town) is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to complete an assessment and design to provide alternative modes of transportation to pedestrians and bicyclists by constructing sidewalks, paved bicycle sharrow areas, pedestrian ramps, curb and gutter, and driveways along certain unpaved corridors through town. Final design shall include construction drawings and specifications to extend existing infrastructure to the proposed development. All services are to be performed by persons appropriately licensed as a professional engineer in the state of Colorado under law governing the practice of engineering. The successful firm shall also have a team of specialists with proven abilities in the analysis and design of said improvements. The Town will provide any and all documentation available to the successful firm in regard to the proposed development, in an effort to facilitate the proposed assessment and design. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
