Site work for a water / sewer project in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installation of 30" & 36" drainage pipe system at 5th Avenue North. A significant portion of the project is to be installed by directional drill under Chester St. This project also includes the relocation of a section of 8" gravity sewer and the relocation of a section of 6" waterline on 5th Ave. N. Project Description: The Project consists of a new 30" and 36" drainage pipe system from the intersection of 5th Avenue North and Kings Highway to an existing 36" drainage pipe system next to the intersection of 5th Avenue North and North Ocean Boulevard. A significant portion of the project is to be installed by directional drill under Chester Street towards Flagg Street. The project also includes the relocation of a section of 8" gravity sewer and the relocation of a section of 6" waterline on 5th Avenue North. The work on this project is to be performed under the South Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, Latest Edition, current SCDOT Supplemental Specifications released by SCDOT at the time the bids for this project were opened, the latest SCDOT standard drawings, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways (MUTCD), Latest Edition; City of Myrtle Beach standards, the Plans and these Special Conditions, unless otherwise stated on the plans or in this document.
