Alameda Municipal Power (AMP), a department of the City of Alameda (City), is the City’s municipal electric utility serving residents and businesses. AMP is in need of Solid Dielectric Pad Mounted Switchgear. See Line Items for the types we need. The Specifications contain the full description of the requirements. t is the vendors responsibility to have their responses entered into the system before the appointed due date and time. Email submittals shall not be accepted. Line 1&2 - Quote based on the net delivered price per type (Free on board or FOB Alameda CA) with all handling & transportation charges prepaid and include all local, state, and federal taxes but do not include sales tax. Line 3 - Sales tax of 10.75% of total tax amount. Per Specifications, 24 weeks lead time is required. However, we accept offers with longer lead time if reasonable. Purchases of materials in excess of $25,000 must receive the City of Alameda's Public Utility Board (PUB) approval at a PUB monthly meeting. Special Notices In the evaluation of bids or proposals for the award of all contracts for the purchase or lease of supplies, materials, equipment or other personal property, a local business shall, upon written application noted on the space provided on City bid or proposal documents, there shall be extended a five (5%) percent preference for local businesses. The awarding officer shall consider the quality offered and its conformity with the specifications, the delivery and discount terms and conditions, the service reputation of the bidder, and other information and data required to prove the lowest responsible bidder.
