Site work and renovation of a civil project in Palos Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of April 23, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. Award will be available in May. The project work includes, but is not limited to construction of a 300,000 gallon ground level drinking water tank with concrete foundation and related accessories, 8" diameter ductile iron fill line, two (2) 16" diameter suction lines, new submersible tank mixer, level and pressure transducers, cathodic protection, chemical piping, miscellaneous ductile iron pipe fittings and valves, two (2) metering type control valves, pressure transducer, electrical work, painting, earthwork grading, landscape restoration, and other modifications of existing pumping station and other associated work. Bidders will be required to comply with all laws, including those relating to the employment of labor and the payment of the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform such work, also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work (including, but not necessarily limited to 820 ILCS 130/1-12 the "Prevailing Wage Act") as ascertained by the City or by the Illinois Department of Labor for Cook County, Illinois shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform such work.
