As of April 28, 2025, the project was awarded to Global Communications and Professional Services Inc. but the awarded amount is not available. The purpose of this solicitation is to enter into an agreement with a qualified, knowledgeable, and skilled company to provide fiber locating services in accordance with all State of Tennessee laws governing the locating and marking of underground facilities. As well as emergency restoration and maintenance services necessary to maintain existing and future fiber optic cable and conduit infrastructure. Individuals interested in viewing the vicinity of the work are encouraged to do so independently. Bidders shall assume complete responsibility and liability for any and all visits. All bidders are urged to visit the Town prior to bidding and become completely familiar with the existing conditions within Town limits. Failure to comply with this requirement will not relieve the successful bidder of its obligation to carry out the scope of the resulting contract.
