The project involves constructing a water well to provide water to the community served by the Royal Water District. The new well is anticipated to produce at least 150 gallons per minute. The work includes: Drilling, development, and testing of the well Geophysical logging Installation of casings and surface seals Test pump installation and removal Test pumping and monitoring Disinfection Well television inspection Water quality testing Other related tasks Additionally, the construction must comply with Department of Health requirements for safe drinking water. All work will be performed in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. Thirty (30) working days will be allowed to complete the work. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by cash, a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond, payable to the Royal Water District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the full amount of the contract price.
