Simcoe Muskoka Child, Youth and Family Services is seeking responses from qualified vendors that have the capacity and expertise to meet the requirements of this request for proposal and who can provide these services in an efficient and effective manner. SMCYFS principal funding is provided by the Province of Ontario. The Ministry conducts regular reviews and audits of the Society to determine funding requirements and to exercise due diligence on behalf of the Government of Ontario. Under Ontario law, the Society is also subject to audits performed by the Auditor General of Ontario on a schedule determined by the Auditor General. The Society is accountable to the public for the effective, efficient, and responsible use of financial resources. Thus, we are seeking value of our funding to ensure the most cost-effective alternative to complete flooring replacement as detailed below. Specifically, the following is required: Demolition of existing partitions and mezzanine and removal of associated waste. Removal of existing trenching, filling of trenching, levelling of floor and grinding and hardening. Installation of an accessible washroom Repainting of walls and decking (including all required preparation) Recommissioning of existing heating system Replacement of existing lighting fixtures with new led fixtures (including exit lighting) Replacement and repair of existing overhead doors, including power operator installation Replace the existing entrance door with an AODA compliant door, including ramp Installation of a lift device between the main and upper level. Sprinkler modifications as required. Supply and installation for a 2m chain link fence partition with gate.
