The scope of work generally includes the complete installation of approximately 2,800 linear feet of waterline (12- inch, 6-inch and 2-inch), domestic water service connections, fire hydrant assemblies, connection to the existing water system, valves, removal and replacement of storm sewers and inlets, county and local roadway restoration, line striping and all other necessary appurtenances for said construction. The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
