The Project consists of the construction of a new Solvay Pumping Station including, pumps, piping, valves, and appurtenances, associated yard piping, and site improvements. Question Deadline 04/03/2025 The Successful Bidder will be required to comply with Onondaga County Water Authoritys Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Policy. The combined M/WBE participation goal for this project is 15% of the total contract value. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license as required by State statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that have been barred from competing on public works under General Municipal Law 5A-103-b. Bids will not be accepted from Bidder's determined to be Non-Responsive by the New York State Office of General Services. This Project is a Covered Project under New York State Labor Law 220-I and the Bidder must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor to submit a bid and at all times for the duration of the Work. Purchase made by the Onondaga County Water Authority are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials. Exemption certificates will be executed upon request. The Onondaga County Water Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities with respect to any bid and to reject any and all Bids.
