Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waycross, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: Dirt to pave roadway construction, including traffic control, erosion control measures, and construction of +- 4.94 LM of 20' wide roadway, +- 1,354 LF of 18" RCP, +- 308 LF of 24" RCP, +- 108 LF of 30" RCP, +- 190 LF of 36" RCP, +- 382 LF of 48" RCP, headwalls, +- 4.94 Lin. Miles of mainline road grading, topping, +- 60,817 SY of soil cement base course or GABC, +- 6,690 TN of 12.5 mm RAC Superpave Asphalt, signage, striping, and all other necessary appurtenances for a complete job. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Ware County prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the Ware County for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened All work on the Project must be completed within 240 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. Ware County, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals. Question Deadline 03/20/2025
