The Consultant shall provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for District 3 - Thomaston, which are required for contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for the construction projects assigned to the Thomaston, Columbus, Perry, Macon, and LaGrange Area Offices. Some of the projects may require night and weekend inspection. The project types may include new construction, widening and reconstruction, rehabilitation of asphalt and concrete pavement, bridge replacement, safety, and resurfacing. The actual number of employees and qualifications required will be dependent on the workload required to meet the inspection needs of assigned projects. The On-Call Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract will have a minimum dollar amount of Twenty-Five Thousands Dollars ($25,000.00) and a maximum dollar amount of Fifty-Five Million Dollars ($55,000,000.00). GDOT anticipates one (1) On-Call Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract to be awarded to one (1) firm, for the project/contract identified. GDOT anticipates that the Payment Type may be Lump Sum, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost per Unit of Work or Specific Rate of Compensation. As an On-Call Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract, the Agreement will remain in effect for three (3) years, with the option to extend the contract for up to a maximum of five (5) years.
