Project is no longer needed.** The project includes upgrading the complete irrigation system at the Soccer Complex located at 601 Triune Mill Road, Thomaston, Georgia encompassing fifteen (15) zones with new irrigation heads, piping, valves, controller, and other items. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. The successful bidder shall secure and pay for all permits, assessments, charges or fees required in connection with the proposed construction. Answers to all questions shall be provided a minimum of 72 hours prior to the time of the bid. All work to be performed under this project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 06/06/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Upson County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom Owner believes would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
