53rd Street and Elmore Avenue Intersection Patching For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - There are no Working Days for this contract. The Contractor shall complete the contract, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment within 30 consecutive calendar days. The calendar day count will commence on the date specified by the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages - Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per day Question Cut Off Date 3/13/2025 01:00:00 PM (CT) The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so.
