**As of April 22, 2025, the project was awarded to Hawkeye Paving Corporation, with an awarded amount of $868,500.54.** Grand Avenue Resurfacing Project - East Locust Street to East 29th Street This project is located along Grand Avenue, just north of E Locust Street to E 29th Street the proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, asphalt mill and overlay of existing pavement section, full depth asphalt pavement patching, PCC curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk replacement, ADA curb ramp construction, utility structure adjustments, miscellaneous manhole replacements, and final stabilization. For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - The Contractor shall complete all work relating to the roadway milling, HMA leveling course, HMA overlay, full depth patching, and curb and gutter replacement by November 1, 2025. Final completion of all remaining contract work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment, shall be completed by November 15, 2025, unless modified by Change Order.
