2025 Lower Paxton Township Paving Project :- The Project encompasses a base bid and alternates across 7 areas in Lower Paxton Township and generally includes: Milling, base repair, pavement fabric matting installation, leveling course, and wearing course overlay, crack sealing, micro surfacing, along with upgrading curb ramps in the project area to meet current standards and any necessary sanitary manhole adjustments. Project Location: Various locations within Lower Paxton Township Question Deadline 03/27/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Location online portal. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. Statutory Requirements. Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for this project is greater than One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
