Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Louisburg, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 3,876-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and 1,550-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
Franklin County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids shall be reviewed by the Owner for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the construction of the Franklin County 109/111 West Nash St. Demolition and Lateral Structural Support Build. Bidders shall be advised of the results. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. Services Provided for the Contractor: An independent testing laboratory will sample and test materials that are components of the final work product of the Contractor and provide certification that the materials meet the required specifications. The laboratory shall oversee the certification process of construction personnel to ensure their qualifications to perform the specified duties. The presence of a testing laboratory shall in no way relieve the Contractor of his obligation to perform the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The contractor shall be responsible for paying the testing laboratory for these services.
