It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to securecomparable bids. All parts of work not specifically mentionedwhich are necessary to provide a complete installation shallbe included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State andFederal requirements. Any bid received by the City of Nampamay not be withdrawn after the time set for bid due date Questions to the bid and all clarifications regarding the bid willbe considered only if they are submitted in writing and receivedby 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025. All questions andclarifications will be addressed in a written addendum and issued by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form ofeither a bid bond (penal sum form), certified check, or cashier'scheck in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal,including any add alternates, is required. Said bid security shallbe forfeited to the City of Nampa should the successful bidderfail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal.Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equalto one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will berequired within ten (10) days after signing the Agreement Between Owner and Contractor. This bond shall be furnished andpaid for by the Contractor and shall remain in full force one (1)year after the date of substantial completion.All Contractors submitting bids are required to have a validIdaho Public Works Contractors License and to include the license number on the Bid Form.Before a contract will be awarded for work contemplatedherein, the OWNER will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of theapparent low bidder to perform the size and type of work specified under this Contract. Upon request, the bidder shall submitinformation deemed necessary by the OWNER to evaluate thebidder's qualifications.The City of Nampa reserves the right to reject any or allproposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bidsreceived, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Nampa.
