Demolition, site work, paving and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Gila Bend, Arizona. Completed plans call for the demolition of a hospitality development; for site work for a hospitality development; for asbestos abatement for a hospitality development; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Town of Gila Bend is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the demolition of the building located at 515 East Pima Street, Gila Bend, AZ 85337. The site includes an abandoned and burned out building shell of a former motel and concrete floors, driveway and parking area pavements, and other associated features. All utilities have been disconnected and are no longer in service. The building demolition contractor is required to perform asbestos abatement, transportation, and disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) in compliance with applicable environmental regulations. The building demolition project will be bid and awarded on a lump sum basis for all the specified work and the award of the project will be made to the lowest qualified and responsive bidder. Bids shall be made on the Bid Proposal Form included therein. Any questions regarding this request for bids shall be submitted by email to Beth Sanchez, Town Clerk, at "bsanchez@gilabendaz.org". The Town of Gila Bend reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid, or to waive any informality in any bid, or to withhold the award if deemed in the best interest of the Town. Question Deadline 03/22/2025 Any question related to the Invitation for Bids shall be directed in writing or via email no later than three (3) days prior to the proposal opening date, to the person whose name appears on the front. Questions submitted after that period may not be answered due to time constraints. Any correspondence related to the Invitation for Bids should refer to the appropriate Bid & Contract Documents package page and paragraph number.
