Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1. Fabrication (or supply), delivery, and placement of a new 30,000 gallon potable water storage tank 2. Fabrication (or supply), delivery, and placement of a new 2,500 gallon hydro-pneumatic pressure tank 3. Shop or Field Coat both tanks according to the specifications provided. All coatings in contact with potable water must be NSF-61 certified. 4. Installation of tank nipples, ports, manways, overflow and other accessories. (Note: valves, tie-ins, electrical equipment, and controls are not part of this bid.) 5. All other necessary work for completion per plans and specifications. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the ARCHER COUNTY M.U.D. No.1 or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The ARCHER COUNTY M.U.D. No.1 reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the ARCHER COUNTY M.U.D. No.1 for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. The board may award the bid that presents the best value for the district using the criteria set forth herein. In determining the best value for the district, the board will consider: (1) the price; (2) the reputation and experience of the contractor; (3) the quality of the contractor's services; (4) the contractor's safety record; (5) the contractor's proposed personnel (6) whether the contractor's financial capability is appropriate to the size and scope of the project; and/or (7) the contractor's past relationship with the corporation
