Site work and paving for a civil project in North Bend, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Meadowbrook Improvements. Schedule A - Sanitary Sewer ULID No. 7: The work includes the construction of sewer pipe to support a future low-pressure grinder pump system, to include approximately 12,400 LF of HDPE sewer force main ranging in sizes of 2-inch to 8-inch, 40 valves ranging in sizes of 2-inch to 8-inch, 43 low-pressure sewer services, 40 locate stations, auger boring three 30-inch steel casings totaling 260 LF, 1,030 LF of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer main, 13 48-inch manholes, 21 sewer cleanouts, a. duplex grinder pump station including emergency standby generator, and associated surface restoration. In addition, the schedule will provide for the installation of a 3-inch force main by directional drilling, and installation of force mam across two existing bridges. Schedule B - NW 14th Street Water Main: The work includes the construction of approximately 1,500 LF of 12-inch DI Water Main, auger boring 145 LF of 30-inch steel casing, four fire hydrant assemblies, three 12-Inch Gate Valves, 16 water services, and associated surface restoration Schedule C - NW 14th Street Roadway Improvements: The work includes the reconstruction of approximately 1,000 LF of roadway consisting of approximately 3,400 SY of cement treated base, and 610 tons of HMA. Schedule D - NW 8th Street Water Main: The work includes the construction of approximately 2,700 LF of DI water main ranging in sizes of 8-inch to 20-inch, auger boring two 30-inch steel casings totaling 125 LF, four fire hydrant assemblies, 13 12-inch gate valves, five water services, and associated surface restoration. In addition, the schedule will provide installation of a water main across an existing bridge. The Engineer's estimated total construction cost for the Meadowbrook Improvements is $10,200,000. The Engineer's estimated construction cost for each schedule of work are as follows: Schedule A: $6,830,000; Schedule B: $1 210,000; Schedule C: $375,000; Schedule D: $1,785,000. The Contract shall provide 200 working days total. The Subcontractors List must be submitted with the Bid package within the deadline listed above. All Bid Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid deposit in the form of a Surety Bid Bond made payable to the City of North Bend, for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of such Bid including sales tax, and all listed additives and alternates if applicable. The subcontractors list must be submitted with the Bid Package. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bid or in the bidding process, and make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
