Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Warren, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

**As of June 5,2025, the project was awarded to Shook Company LLC, with an awarded amount of $1,234,567.89.** Prospective bidders will need to purchase the bid book. The contract's work includes furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor and services necessary for completion of the project. All work shall be done as shown on drawings called for in the description of the work and in a manner directed by the specifications of the City of Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. The work to be performed under this project is located in the City of Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio. The project will replace the superstructure of the Packard Park Pedestrian bridge over the Mahoning River. The span lengths shall be the same as existing and the bottom of low chord profile shall not be lower than existing. The existing abutments and piers will be retained and modified as necessary for the new superstructure. The Bullhead Park western approach asphalt trail from Tod Ave to the bridge will be resurfaced. The Packard Park eastern sidewalk will be replaced. Rock channel protection will be installed in front of the abutments. All work must be completed above the Ordinary High Water Mark of the Mahoning River. Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate: $1,550,000 (Aluminum Structure) $2,110,000 (Galvanized Steel Structure) The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal for this project shall be 5%. Each bidder shall be required to file with his bid a bid guaranty for each bid submitted in one of the following forms: (1) A bond, for the full amount of his bid; or (2) A certified check equal to ten percent (10%) of his bid; or (3) A cashier's check equal to ten percent (10%) of his bid; or (4) A letter of credit, pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, equal to ten percent (10%) of his bid. Any bid guaranty shall be subject to the applicable provisions of Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code to the same extent as if said provisions of Chapter 153 were fully incorporated within said bid guaranty. A Contract Performance Bond in the name of the Ohio Department of Transportation and the City of Warren in an amount equal to 100% of the estimated cost of the work, conditioned among other things, that the contractor will perform the work upon the terms proposed, within the time prescribed, in accordance with the plans and specifications. (B) A Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the estimated cost of the work condition for the payment by the contractor and all subcontractors for labor performed and materials furnished in connection with the project involved. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
