Question Deadline 03/20/2025 All requests for interpretation must be received at least five days prior to the day set for receiving Bids. The Town of Westport (OWNER) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Kennedy Drive Sewer Extension The Project includes the following Work: Approximately 291 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch (IN) polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sanitary sewer, two sanitary sewer manholes, three 6-IN PVC sanitary sewer laterals, two 6-IN sanitary sewer wyes, 40 LF of 12-IN CMP culvert pipe, two 12-IN steel apron endwalls, 100 cubic yards of excavation below subgrade, 610 LF of shoulder removal and replacement, 920 SY of pavement removal, 220 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement, clearing and grubbing of two trees, 407 LF of silt fence, and erosion control, among other items The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
