Site work and paving for a civil project in Palatka, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

1. Provide approximately 135 lf of 15' wide (2,025 sf) rubble riprap ditch lining along the east side of CR309 from 20' south of the cross culvert, north to the intersecting ditch from the east. Use lining detail (Typical Section 1) included in the design plans, adjusting the bottom width to match existing ditch. 2. Extend approximately 1,000 sf of ditch lining along west side of CR309 from the cross culvert, approximately 30' to the north. Use lining detail (Typical Section 1) included in the design plans, adjusting the bottom width to match existing ditch. 3. Provide approximately 1500 sf rubble riprap ditch lining within the ditch intersection at the south end of the cross culvert under St Johns Fishing Lodge Rd. Extend lining approximately 20' from end of culvert down the north-south ditch. Use lining detail (Typical Section 1) included in the design plans, adjusting the bottom width to match existing ditch. 4. Shave down east shoulder of CR309 and remove material to 3" below edge of pavement from Alabama St north to the cross culvert. Remove vegetation and regrade ditch from Alabama St to the cross culvert (approximately 450 lf). Provide 6% slope 5' from EOP and 4:1 max slope to bottom of ditch. Install 6' of Argentine bahia sod along edge of pavement. Seed and mulch all other slopes with Argentine bahia. 5. Replace 60 lf, 18" CMP under Alabama St with 24" RCP. Install two straight headwalls per FDOT Index 430-030 and repair approximately 500 sf of asphalt road per Asphalt Patch Detail. 6. Replace 60 lf, 36" CMP under Tennessee Ave St with 36" RCP. Install two straight headwalls per FDOT Index 430-030 and repair approximately 900 sf of asphalt road per Asphalt Patch Detail. 7. Replace 60 lf, 36" CMP under Maryland Ave with 36" RCP. Install two straight headwalls per FDOT Index 430-030 and repair limerock road. 8. Clean and regrade ditch from Park Ave north to the cross culvert at St Johns Fishing Lodge Road, approximately 1,000 lf. Ditch bottom should provide continuous slope between pipe inverts. Any inverted driveways shall be removed and the ditch slope re-established. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the COUNTY for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the COUNTY will return the BONDS of all except the three lowest responsible BIDDERS. When the Agreement is executed, the Bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful BIDDERS will be returned. The BID BOND of the successful BIDDER will be retained until the payment BOND and the performance BOND have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID BOND. PERFORMANCE BOND in the amount of 100% of the CONTRACT PRICE, from a corporate surety approved by the COUNTY will be required. PAYMENT BOND in the amount of 100% of the CONTRACT PRICE, from a corporate surety approved by the COUNTY will be required. Putnam County BOCC has the option and reserves the right to extend the contract beyond the initial contract term of one calendar year to allow for project completion and closeout processes to ensue, beginning on 4/22/2025 and ending on 08/27/2025 by mutual consent of the parties.
