The City of Palatka is seeking bids for a qualified and licensed contractor(s) for the removal and replacement of Water Pump No.1 and Water Pump No.2 in the pump building at the RC Willis Water Treatment Plant in Palatka, Florida. The RC Willis Water Treatment Plant is located west of the downtown area and east of the airport on N. Moody Road in the City of Palatka. Construction will include removal of existing Water Pump No.1 and existing Water Pump No.2 and constructing new Water Pump No.1 and Water Pump No.2 on existing concrete bases with new VFDs for a complete and operable system. Elements of the work include demolition of existing pumps, preparing existing concrete bases, installing new pumps, VFDs and reconnect piping and electrical.
