The Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) is requesting professional design and construction administration services to produce a demolition bid package for the demolition of portions of the Michigan Reformatory Facility. The two main areas where demolitions are to take place are outside the main wall and inside of the main wall of the facility. Refer to appended site plan. The outside demolition consists of removal of the 1950's - 1960's vintage two-story entrance along the east facade of the facility. Security fencing along the east facade at two locations to also be demolished. Security fencing along the north facade of the facility shall also be demolished. Event Site Walkthrough note: All contractor/vendor representatives attending a Pre-Bid Walk Through Meeting must submit a Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request five business days prior to the meeting date, (See the attached Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request form).
