Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price payable to Ashland County as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within the time set by the County or the bid deposit shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond payable to Ashland County for one hundred (100) percent of the contract price for each of the bonds in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents.
