The City of Florence is accepting sealed bids from qualified contractors to make improvements to the GE Groundwater Treatment Plant The work to be done consists of furnishing materials, equipment and labor necessary to make improvements and recommission the GE Groundwater Treatment Plant, consisting of the following approximate quantities: o Installation of two new submersible groundwater pumps o Installation of new pre and post lime, fluoride and chlorine feed equipment and piping o Installation of two new high service pumps o Installation of new FRP enclosed valve building o Rehab of existing pressure filter vessels including filter media o Replacement of GE WTP building electrical, mechanical and HVAC/Plumbing equipment o Installation of new SCADA equipment and electrical equipment o Miscellaneous site utility vaults and manholes o Site fencing, lighting, paving and concrete pads Question Deadline 04/03/2025 Each request for such interpretation should be in writing, addressed to URS Corporation, 101 Research Drive, Columbia, SC 29203. To be given consideration, the request must be received at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids
