As of September 23, 2025, engineer selected, project started June 2025. It is the intention of the City to solicit proposals for engineering and design services for the preliminary and detailed design for the Minneapolis Highway Safety and Safe Routes to School Projects. This includes preparation of geometric layouts as necessary, construction plans for bidding, and construction support. The City of Minneapolis (hereinafter referred to as the City) makes this Request for Proposals (hereinafter referred to as the RFP) in order to select a qualified Consulting Firm (hereinafter referred to as the Consultant) for providing Minneapolis Highway Safety Improvement and Safe Routes to School Projects Engineering and Design Services (hereinafter called the Project).
