Renovation of an educational facility in Portage, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids for Loy Norrix High School Pool Surge Tank Replacement. This is a specialty prime contract: Pool/ Aquatics. All proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship (or lack of relationship) that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the Kalamazoo Public Schools or the Superintendent of the School District. The district shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement. As of March 13, 2025, It is anticipated that construction will start within (69) calendar days (June 9, 2025) after receipt of bids. Construction shall be complete within (60) consecutive calendar days (August 1, 2025), or earlier, after Notice to Proceed. SCOPE OF WORK • 1). Demo and replacement of the existing Surge Tank and penetrations. • 2). Demo and replacement of the Filtration Pump and Piping/Valves adjacent to the Surge Tank. • 3). Demo of the existing Air Actuated Control Valve and replacement with a new electronic Main Drain Valve. • 4). Demo and replacement of the Pool Autofill System. • 5). Demo and replacement of the Existing Chemical Controller and Chemical Sampling System. • 6). Demo and replacement of the existing Stairs.
