Supply the City with traffic signal control equipment and configuration and standard testing support services for new products. The work consists of supplying the following signal control equipment listed below. Quantities will be determined by the City on an as-needed basis. This procurement includes: ATC traffic signal control cabinets (352+ and/or 352S+), with integrated battery backup UPS 2070 LX with 2070 1C module, Linux bootable, no software/firmware Touchless APS pedestrian push button systems The traffic signal equipment procured in this RFP are to be implemented as part of a USDOT-funded Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) project, Rainier Valley Safe: Technology Investments to Improve Community Safety. The SMART project is leveraging smart sensing infrastructure and upgraded traffic signals to address safety at at-grade light rail crossings and multimodal efficiency at signalized intersections in the Rainier Valley. This contract shall be for one-year with four (4) one-year extensions allowed at the option of the City. The grant funding the work on this contract expires on March 15, 2025. At the discretion of the City, the contract may be extended year over year if additional funding becomes available.
