Repairs to bridges, roads, and channels at several bridge sites in Boyd County, Nebraska and other work incidental thereto. Each bidder will be required to submit with his proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the County Treasurer of Boyd County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of their proposal. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall furnish within ten (10) days after the award a surety bond or bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. The form of the bonds and surety shall be acceptable to the Boyd County Board of Supervisors. The bidder will include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with the proposal. The Contractor will be allowed 60 calendar days for the completion of all work at all location sites. The required completion date of the project is June 27, 2025. Awarding of the Contract will be in accordance with the provisions of "Competitive Bidding; Consideration", COUNTY PURCHASING ACT, N.R.S. Sections 23-3101 through 23-3114, any competitive bidding requirements of Nebraska Statutes 16-321, et. seq.
