The Board of Education of the Sacramento City Unified School District ("District") is inviting interested Design Builders to submit a Statement of Qualification ("SOQ") for the purpose of pre-qualifying as prospective Progressive Design-Build proposers for design and construction of the new Ethel I. Baker Elementary School ("Project"), located at 5717 Laurine Way, Sacramento, CA 95824. March 26th , 2025, 2:00pm - Deadline to submit RFQ questions via email. April 1st , 2025, 2:00pm - RFQ Addenda issued and posted to District website. April 18th , 2025, 2:00pm - Deadline to submit RFP questions via email April 23rd , 2025, 2:00pm - RFP Addenda issued and posted to District website. The expected cost of the Project, including both design and construction, is not to exceed $90,000,000. The contract duration is approximately Fifty (50) months and will be further defined in the RFP. Liquidated damages will apply to late completion, and the amount of the liquidated damages will be identified in the RFP. The District reserves the right to find any SOQ that is incomplete or otherwise fails to respond to all requirements of this RFQ non-responsive and to give it no further consideration. The District also reserves the right to request clarification and/or additional information from any Respondent.
