Chula Vista Elementary School District ("District") issues this Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/P) to invite submission of Statement of Qualifications and a Proposal (altogether, "Proposal"), defined herein, from qualified firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, persons, or professional organizations ("Firm(s)") to perform design-build services as authorized by Education Code section 17250.10, et. seq. for RFQ/P 24/25-8 CalSHAPE Ventilation Program. The selected Firm shall perform design (engineering assessments and preparation of assessment reports), and construction services (installation of filter and CO2 monitors, associated maintenance and repairs) ("Services") at multiple District sites ("Site") pursuant to the Ventilation Program of the California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency Program ("CalSHAPE") administered by the California Energy Commission ("CEC"). Firms desiring to submit a response must submit a Proposal by the date and time indicated in the RFQ/P Schedule. Each proposal must strictly conform with and be responsive to this notice, the Instructions for Vendors, and other proposal documents. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals. Any proposals received after the specified date and time will not be opened nor viewed. Late submissions will be deemed unresponsive. No submitter may withdraw a proposal for a period of forty five (45) calendar days after the opening of the proposals.
