Area will need scanned, excavated and repaired. Line break will need assessed and repaired/replaced. Area will need backfilled and concrete replaced to match existing drives/curbs. Project Duration 1 year Bid Bond 5.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 100.00% The underground steam line feeding the building's boiler system is in need of repair/replacement. Job scope includes the following: - Scan area of excavation to identify lines/leak point - Saw-cut & remove concrete - Excavation of the area to be replaced - Cut out section of leaking piping and weld in new piping with an expansion loop - Insulate steam piping - Backfill area - Replace concrete to match existing drives/curbs - Replace section of concrete initially removed to allow steam to escape Pre-Bid Meeting No Preferences MBE - Minority-Owned Business Enterprise WBE - Woman-Owned Business Enterprise
