Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Columbus, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.
This project will supply adequate storage for maintenance vehicles, specifically the installation's only line truck, to prevent damage from inclement weather and ensure work on power lines can be safely executed. The Contractor provide all plant, labor, services, equipment, transportation, and tools necessary to perform all work in accordance with this SOW, applicable local, state, and federal requirements, and applicable United Facilities Criteria (UFC). Work includes preparation of area to be utilized, fabricating and installing a 15'-0" clear height minimum under beams by 36'-0" deep by roughly 180'-0" long metal shed for vehicle storage. Visit, RSVP, and Base Entry: The Government invites you to a visit on Tuesday, 20 May 2025 at 9:00 AM CST. Attendance is highly encouraged but not . Please note that registration is by 2:00 PM CST on 15 May 2025. To register, please email the POC requesting the DoD Safe drop-off link to securely upload the Entry Authorization Listing (EAL) document. If you do not contact the POC by 2:00 PM CST on 15 May 2025, you will not be able to attend the visit. Identification: All attendees bring a valid photo ID. Vehicle Requirements: If driving, please ensure the driver has driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. Additional Info: All RFIs be submitted NLT 2:00 PM CST, on 28 May 2025. IAW FAR 36.204(c) - The range of magnitude for this procurement is between 100,000 and 250,000. 2.3.1 Contractor shall perform all soils testing services required to prepare and to furnish complete design documents consisting of drawings, analysis, and addenda as required, for the construction of the project in accordance with this SOW. 2.3.2 Design, furnish, and install all materials necessary to erect a new flat-roof metal shed for vehicle storage. The new shed shall have a 15'-0" clear minimum under beams and be 36'-0" wide by roughly 180'-0" long, see concept drawing for location. The new shed shall begin at the grass median by B386 and extend to B377's exterior wall closest to the project site. Contractor must field verify 180'-0" distance can be achieved within this location; design to accommodate most space available. B377's existing awning will be removed prior to project construction for the new shed to be installed. The new shed shall have an overall height no greater than the top of B386's exterior wall closest to the project site. The new shed shall be designed to achieve the work in the following bullet points while maintaining required dead, live, wind, snow, earthquake, and other special load calculations of the project's geographic location. All materials shall be of moisture and rust resistant properties and can withstand additional environmental degradations. All materials shall be prefinished by the manufacturer. All materials' style and color should conform to base standards and be approved by the Project Manager. 2.3.3 All materials shall match or exceed the materials used for existing nearby structures, see attachments for reference photos. Contractor must field verify materials used for existing nearby structures. All materials shall be of moisture and rust resistant properties and can withstand additional environmental degradations. All materials shall be prefinished by the manufacturer. All materials' style and color should conform to base standards and be approved by the Project Manager. 2.3.4 Furnish and install all materials necessary to erect the metal flat-roof of the new shed. The flat-roof shall be designed to have a low slope necessary for stormwater runoff. Stormwater runoff shall be directed towards the backside of the structure facing the nearby fence. The roof shall be single skin WPan .032" or greater with .050" roll formed gutters and downspouts or greater. Ensure gutters and downspouts are properly secured to the new shed. The skin shall be an ivory color, and gutter, downspouts, and bracing/fastener hardware a bronze color. 2.3.5 Furnish and install all materials necessary to install scuppers for drainage. Scuppers shall be located on the backside facing the nearby fence. The suppers shall be a bronze color.2 .3.6 Furnish and install all materials necessary to support the new metal flat-roof. The roof shall be supported by 10" C beams and 4" columns. The columns each shall be set into concrete footings. Ensure the concrete footings are within the ground and terminate at grade level. Furnish and install all materials necessary to ensure existing parking and new construction have a uniform, flat grade level surface transition. The structure shall be designed and installed with minimal column obstructions to achieve 15'-0" clear minimum under beams by 36'-0" wide by at minimum 20'0" long vehicle parking bays while maintaining existing swing gate full operation, required dead, live, wind, snow, earthquake, and other special load calculations of the project's geographic location. The beams and columns shall be a bronze color. 2.3.7 Contractor shall keep the existing fencing and swing gate adjacent to the project site in place. No work shall be performed on the fencing and gate. The existing swing gate shall remain fully operational for vehicle passage post-construction. The structure of the new shed shall be designed and installed with minimal column obstructions to maintain such operation. NOTE: Contractors/Offerors complete CUI Training Slides; sign and return the "MFR Contractor CUI Training Acknowledgment for Solicitations" to gain access to drawings and other associated CUI documentation. Once the POC has received your signed MFR, please request access to the locked documents through SAM.gov. Your MFR will be reviewed and access to the lock SAM.gov documents will be granted accordingly. Proposals will be submitted electronically. The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar and complete it within 152 calendar *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
