The Piscataway Board of Education hereby advertises for competitive bids in accordance with N.J.S.A.18A:18A-21(a) (b) for Painting Services The envelope to bear the following information:Title:Painting Services Bid Number2025-105 Name and Address of the Bidder Bid Opening Date:Wednesday, April2, 2025 Bid Opening Time:12:00 p.m Bids may also be submitted to the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary or their designee at the bid opening meeting, prior to the advertised date and time. The Board of Education does not accept electronic (e-mail) submissions of bids at this time. The pre-bid meeting will provide an overview of the rooms to be painted in all five buildings. The bidder shall be classified by the State of New Jersey--Division of Property Management and Construction in one of the following trade(s): C008 - General Construction, C009 - General Construction/Alter. & Additions,C077 - Painting-General. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check made payable to the Piscataway Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, however, not to exceed $20,000.00.Bidders are required by law to submit a Statement of Ownership Disclosure form statement setting forth the names and addresses of all persons and entities that own ten (10%) percent or more of its stock or interest of any type at all levels of ownership. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bids or all bids, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22, and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions,that may be in the best interest of the Board.
