The City of Leavenworth, Kansas, Parks & Recreation Department, is accepting Bids from qualified vendors for modernization of the elevator located at the Riverfront Community Center, 123 S. Project Scope of work to include but not limited to the following: 1. Replace controller with new non-proprietary solid-state microprocessor controller. 2. New solid-state motor starter. 3. New solid-state landing system. 4. New machine room and hoistway wiring. 5. New in car ADA operating panel with digital position indicator and ADA compliant hands free phone. Fixtures to be 2022 code compliant as required by the State of Kansas. 6. New hall stations at all landings. 7. New emergency car lighting. 8. Phase I and Phase II fire fighters service key switches to meet code. 9. New direction lantern. 10. Cover plates as needed. 11. All buttons shall be metal and vandal resistant. 12. New stainless steel return. 13. New hoistway door panel(s) shall be provided where applicable. New door(s) shall be UL fire rated 1 ½ hours. Finish to be #4 stainless steel. 14. New non-proprietary solid-state door opener. 15. New 3D electronic light curtain to meet State of Kansas code for passenger entry and exit detection. 16. New contact kits for hall interlocks and car gate switch. 17. New pickup rollers, hanger rollers, gibs and fire tabs as needed to replace worn ones. 18. New hydraulic power unit with new motor, pump, valve, silencer and tank. 19. New shutoff valve as needed. 20. New hydraulic oil. 21. New car top inspection station. 22. New escape hatch switch. 23. New car fan. 24. New car rollers or slide guide inserts replaced on existing guides. 25. New jack packing. 26. New 2022 pit ladder. 27. Removal of all decommissioned equipment. 28. Retain and reuse any equipment not included in above scope. 29. Permit and final inspection to be included to meet State of Kansas 2022 code. Final inspection shall be submitted to the State. 30. PROJECT TO BE TURNKEY BY THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER. BUILDING RELATED WORK REQUIRED
