This project involves installing backwater valves and/or sump pumps, and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). All questions concerning this bid are to reference the project name and be sent to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. No phone calls concerning questions about the bid will be accepted. The last day to submit questions will be specified in the IFB. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. City of Columbus MBE/WBE Program: This project is subject to the requirements of the City's MBE/WBE Program. The MBE/WBE goal assigned to this project is 15.0%. he contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible, and best bidder. City certified MBE/WBE firms that submit a bid may be eligible to receive a bid discount of 5% of the bid amount up to a maximum discount of $50,000.00.
