A. Work covered by Contract Documents: Construction of the renovation to the existing monument sign to replace the led screens and add additional masonry. B. Definitions. The following terms are used throughout the Contract Documents. The work will be governed in accord with the definitions. 1. Owner shall purchase and maintain Builder's Risk Insurance in accord with the General Conditions. b. The Owner's insurance will be subject to a deductible of $1000 per occurrence. D. Contracts 1. The Owner will award a single construction contract for all work specified in the Contract Documents. 2. Upon award of the construction contract, the owner will issue a Letter of Intent to award a Construction Contract to the approved contractor. This Letter of Intent shall serve as a notice to proceed with the project according to the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract Documents, until the work under Contract Documents is completed. . The contractor shall commence all construction services as specified in the contract documents upon receipt of the Letter of Intent. A. Sodding: To consist of preparation of sod areas, furnishing, transporting, and placing the sod and other materials required in the sodding operations in all the areas to be sodded and mulched. 2.
