Reference Number 0000288902 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/03/18 02:00:00 PM EDT This Request for Tender is issued to the QCH Pre-Qualified Roofing Contractors Vendors of Record for the purpose of contracting services for the 2025 Roof Replacement project. Only Contractors listed on document 00 01 06 "LIST OF PRE-QUALIFIED BIDDERS" are eligible to submit bids for this project. Work will not commence before April 1, 2025 and without a prior start up meeting with the Owners Rep. and Consultant. All work must be completed by August 29, 2025. All sheet metal flashing/siding installations and all roofing/sheet metal deficiencies must be completed and corrected to the satisfaction of the Consultant, by August 30, 2025. Each Bid shall be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a Bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Price naming the Owner as obligee and issued by a surety licensed to conduct surety and insurance business in Ontario. Each Bid shall be accompanied by an agreement to bond issued by the same surety company that provides the Bid bond, undertaking to Provide a fifty percent (50%) performance bond and a fifty percent (50%) labour and material payment bond, both to be delivered to the Owner if the Bidder is awarded the Contract. The Owner may, in its sole discretion, and for any or no reason: 1 reject any or all Bid(s); 2 reject the whole or any part of any Bid(s); 3 accept the whole or any part of any Bid(s); 4 if only one Bid is received, elect to accept or reject it.
