This work generally consists of but is not limited to excavation, removal, and disposal of granular material behind an existing sheet pile bulkhead, with subsequent placement of concrete to serve as structural fill. The Contractor shall be liable for the continued assessment of liquidated damages at $1,000.00 for each calendar day that the Contractor is in default in attaining Final Completion within the time stipulated as provided herein.
