Renovation of an educational facility in Chesapeake, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is to replace the existing Great Bridge High School telescoping gym seating. The Work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the Gymnasium. Demolish two sections of electrically operated Telescopic Gym Seating, as shown in the demolition drawings; demolish wiring and conduit, as shown in the electrical demolition drawings; provide two sections of electrically operated Telescopic Gym Seating; and provide electrical wiring, conduit, and accessories, as shown in the electrical drawings. Question Submission Deadline: March 20, 2025, 12:00pm. BID SECURITY: A bidder's bond or certified check will be required in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. BID WITHDRAWAL OR REJECTION: Chesapeake Public Schools reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or to reject any or all bids, in whole or part, when it is in the best interest of Chesapeake Public Schools. The right to waive any and all informalities and to determine the responsibility of all bidders is reserved to Chesapeake Public Schools. The Owner reserves the right to negotiate any aspect of this Bid with the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. No bid or any part thereof may be withdrawn or canceled or modified for 90 days after the Bid Opening with the exception that Bids may be withdrawn after opening in accordance with the procedures for Withdrawal of Bids in Section 2.2-4330 of the Code of Virginia.
