Completion Date: Nov. 14, 2025 For furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary to construct Sandhill Drive from Deerfield Drive to N. Wright Road, including approximately 2,500 LF of new 6"-12" water main; 900 LF of new 8" sanitary sewer; 3,000 LF of new 12"-48" storm sewer; 4,400 CY of unclassified excavation; 10,800 TONS of aggregate base; 5,900 LF of new concrete curb & gutter; 16,700 SF of new concrete sidewalk and driveway approach; 3,300 TONS of asphalt paving; epoxy pavement markings; non-paved surface restoration; signage; and other miscellaneous construction items. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor will furnish all the labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the following work in accordance with the contract documents: Construction of approximately 2,830 lineal feet of new roadway. More specifically, the work will include earthwork, sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, curb & gutter, driveway approaches, sidewalks, asphalt pavement, pavement markings, street lighting (by others), and terrace restoration.
