Wadsworth Elevator Modernization City: Houghton County: Houghton State/Province: MI Site Directions: Michigan Technological University Wadsworth Hall Est. Completion Date: Aug. 31, 2025 Pre-Qualification: Yes Single contract that covers the demolition of the existing elevator-adjacent spaces, construction of a new elevator machine room, and installation of electrical devices and fixtures necessary to bring the surrounding areas into compliance with current building, mechanical, electrical, and elevator codes. The elevator replacement itself will be performed under a separate contract. See the drawings and other contract documents for more information on the scope of work. Please note, this project is a Prevailing Wage Project under the State of Michigan Law Prevailing Wages on State Projects, MCL 408.1101 et seq .
