The selected vendor will be responsible for the pre-site inspection, obtaining necessary permits from town, and for the removal of existing shingles from the roof deck and replacement of the existing roof. o Pre site inspection. o Obtain necessary permits from the Town of Tiverton. o Protect the property and grounds with tarps. o Strip and remove existing shingles from the roof deck. o Inspect the roof deck for integrity. o If rotted wood is found and requires replacing, added charge. o Install Ice & Water leak barrier on entire roof surface for additional leak protection. o Install 8" metal drip edge at all eaves and rake edges. o Drip edge color: white. o Install starter strip shingles at all eaves and rake edges. o Install, new Limited Lifetime (50-year) Architectural Shingles. o Shingle type: Owen's Corning Duration Series. o Shingle color to be used: TBD o Install new continuous ridge vent system at peak. o Install ridge cap shingles at all peaks and ridges. o Provide dumpster(s) on site and other means to dispose of job site debris. o Clean up and remove all job site debris. o Check property for nails. o Post job inspection with building representative (Fire Chief or designee)
