Bidders shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary in the cost of their bid to complete the project. Bids shall be submitted electronically with either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid amount, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in favor of the City of Urbana, OH and Salem Township, Champaign County, OH in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. Project completion date shall be Friday, August 29, 2025. The contractor and all subcontractors shall pay employees on the project the prevailing wages established by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Labor and Worker Safety, including all updates, and shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. The current Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule is included in the bid documents.
