DBE GOAL: 7% Description of Job: Improving sections of CHP CR 216/2/223 in Wayne, Rush and Salem Townships, Champaign County, Ohio in accordance with these plans and specifications by installing a new asphaltic wearing surface and pavement markings on Urbana Woodstock Pike and Ludlow Road as shown on the plans. Question Deadline 07/22/2025 at 9:10 AM ET All questions shall be submitted via online Completion date for this project (October 31, 2025). The proposals must be submitted via online, with all forms and documentation completed, for the solicitation titled "CHP-CR 216/2/223 - PID 114353". Bids shall be submitted via Bid Express, signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents, and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond issued in favor of Champaign County, Ohio and the Ohio Department of Transportation in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in favor of the Champaign County Commissioners and the Ohio Department of Transportation in the amount of 100% of the Bid in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The "prime" contractor shall be (ODOT) prequalified in Work Types #6, #10, #11, #13, #39, #45, and #48. Prequalification status shall be in force at the time of bidding, the time of sale, the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in any Bid and to accept any Bid which is deemed by the Owner to be most favorable to the Owner.
