Talbot County Public Schools is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide the described services. The referenced services include the expansion of the security camera system at Easton High School. Project Cost Class A - Up to $100,000 All questions shall be submitted on or before March 7, 2025, by 5:00 PM The Board of Education of Talbot County reserves the right to reject submissions which have been improperly labeled. The funding associated with this project was awarded through the Maryland Center for School Safety FY 2025 School Safety Grant and the Inter-Agency Commission for School Construction and all submissions shall adhere to the associated requirements herein in order to be considered for award. Talbot County Public Schools ("TCPS") is hereby soliciting sealed proposals for the purpose of selecting qualified contractor(s) to complete the referenced projects. Contract Execution No later than May 16, 2025 All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted via email to the Issuing Officers. Emailed questions and inquiries will be accepted from any and all prospective respondents in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFP. All questions shall be submitted on or before March 7, 2025, by 5:00 PM, and should be emailed to the Issuing Officer, Kevin Shafer, Director of Operations, at the following email address: kshafer@talbotschools.org. If awarded, all work detailed in this solicitation shall be complete between the dates of June 16, 2025 and August 1, 2025. TCPS will be flexible as to providing the necessary access to the campus. TCPS shall allow evening and weekend work hours to accommodate contractor preference. No work shall be performed while students occupy the buildings. All work times and building access shall be scheduled through the issuing officer. Should a formal contract be awarded as a result of this solicitation process, the successful Respondent shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond. A Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price will be required from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Maryland and satisfactory to TCPS. The Bond shall be submitted to TCPS at the time of Contract execution by the Bidder within the timeframes required herein. Premiums for the bonds described above shall be paid by the Contractor. Bonds shall contain a provision that it shall not be cancelled, non-renewed or materially altered without at least ninety (90) days written prior notice to TCPS. A bondability letter from the associated surety company is required at the time of proposal submission.
